A lot of those guys you mention work in lesser roles for years before becoming a GM or president of hockey ops etc. I’m not saying GC couldn’t be successful, but I’m pretty sure he is a financial advisor for TD, or something finance related.

It's never fun being out of the playoffs. Unless you're a hater.

But hey the Flames had no seasonal challenges, a mature core, changed stewardship and still suck.

At least the Canucks can make stewardship changes and develop players to do better. Imagine if healthy (Petey) and without a sh!t schedule and P1 better can turn into playoffs again.
