Is it wrong that I both hate Tom Wilson for scoring the first goal of the playoffs, and the Bruins for winning the first game? There's no real winner in my eyes...

Better Wilson scores the first goal of the playoffs than the last one and a goal against Boston is always a good thing

There are about 312 000 reasons to hate the Bruins, but winning that game isnt one of them since they lost, which is a great thing

Dammit... Can we wish them both a fiery death? (Except Ovie, Lars, and Bergeron?)
(I still maintain that Bergeron is a great player packed into a poop team..)

Weber will retire a Habs imo
- fidopro

Nashville has to trade for him if he decides to retire early, huge cap implications for them if before the end of his contract

Was thinking if the Krackens pick Weber and we go and get a good RHD like Hamilton from ufa and manage to trade Drouin for even pick our team will look better next year
- habs88888

Seattle will not be picking up the remaining five years of Weber’s 7.8m cap hit. Something about his declining production and arthritic knees. A more realistic event would be Seattle signing Dougie Hamilton. A younger, cheaper more productive option over Weber.
Drouin’s value has never been lower. 5.5m cap hit for two more years. That’s a big number for a player that doesn’t score, hit, fight or defend. Not to mention his current absence. Habs would need to send a high pick if they were to get a sucker to pick up that contract.

Yup.

Pretty sure leaving for "personal reasons" isn't covered by his contract.
