Agreed there is no Leaf homer announcer that comes to mind at all currently. Joe Bowen would be loved by Leafs fans but likely not so much by other teams. He and Rob Ralph do a great job together though - missed opportunity in my opinion but it is what it is.

Even Ex-Leafs who were on the broadcast loved to rip on them. Look at how much of a knob Glenn Healy was.

It's not the players on the unit, IMO. Except Rielly. Other than that, it's the set plays. Zone entries are god awful. They're predictable and nobody moves. Everyone on that powerplay is doing exactly what they're told to and it's painful to watch. They can't even get set up. Marner can't shoot or pass if they can't make it past the blue line without posession.
