I am interested to see what Buffalo does. If they trade Eichel than I assume they are trading everyone. That means Ristolainen or Dahlin would be available. I would be fine with adding Risto as part of the top four and Dahlin to play with Provorov.

I know very few people over 40 who are not vaccinated or like in my case have been given one shot, waiting for #2. I will agree it’s very sad that we aren’t being vaccinated as quick, but all I have to do is look at a country like India, who actually produces the vaccine I got is in a lot worse shape. Things were really slow until around April 20th....things have started to get a bit better now...not perfect....but that’s why we are still in a stay at home order. - landros 2
Okay, that sounds fair. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. Based on what I gather and my experience on both sides of the boarder, the American dollar dominates. Speaking in hockey terms, there was 7 teams in Canada and 24 in the US. The NHL would rather the Coyotes die in Arizona than ever let them go back to Winnipeg for years. I’m currently looking at houses in a seller’s market. Every bid is won based on a cash offer. Getting back to the topic at hand. How is it Americans are able to get their Dosage free and quickly over Canada? Again, I can count on one hand of how many of my friends and family in Canada are fully vaccinated. In the states, not only is it a choice, you can choose between option A, B, or C? In my opinion, Canada has to do better than “I didn’t know it would be out so soon”. This is important and if it isn’t about money, they need to be more responsible and keep up on this world wide Pandemic. |

Why would they move Dahlin. It’s not like he’s 35 years old lol.
Btw he’s got the worst +/- of any player in the league. |

had lunch with a business partner from Canada, I forget the population amount but they had like 5 cases a day and were completely shut down, handing out fines if you were out. - wcorvette

Then he should be cheap right? I think he will come around as a player.
In my scenario, they are trading Eichel or have already traded Eichel. I would assume everyone would be available at that point. Maybe, maybe not but it does not seem to make a lot of sense to keep the rest of the team together after Eichel is traded.

The biggest issue is still the manufacturing capabilities...other countries that did manufacturing put them selves at the front of the line. Like the US. Can’t blame countries for looking after their own, and I don’t. As well The government dropped the ball when companies like Pfizer and Moderna started taking orders, Canada was late to the party. We actually had really good numbers until this 3rd wave...like I said there’s no use in female doging and moaning. It is what it is. I’m doing my best to follow all the rules, simply because I’m not a doctor and am trying to err on the side of cation. |

The US has 3.5 times more teams, but 10 times more people ...Canada is maxed out re: hockey revenue...

I very much doubt they move him. Because Eichel wants out has nothing to do with him.
That’s like saying Coots is requesting a trade so we might as well take offers on Farabee. |

Risto is signed for a few years and Dahlin would need a new contract. I would think a 1st this year and whatever other player the Sabres want. They might want a roster player or maybe a prospect. I am not sure.
Let's say this:
Buff Gets
1st round this year
NoPa
Flyers Get
Dahlin
Flyers only have $10mil in cap space before the ED.

Trading Coots is a lot different than trading Eichel. Coots will be 30 and in the last year of his contract next year. Eichel is the franchise in Buffalo. If he goes that is a seismic move. I would assume other players are available in that scenario.

The -30 in 52 games was tough. But at least he averaged .17 PPG. Right where you expect a # 2 overall pick in his third NHL season to be.
When he sucks next year, everyone making excuses about him not playing last season, will have to go back to the drawing board. |
