why not? Timmins was scout, head of scout, now vice-gm... next step is being gm somewhere. why not in Mtl?

I find it would be an insanely dumb move, not saying the chances of it happening are zero but maybe a 2.5% chance...? and yeah at that point I wouldn't even know what to think anymore lol

why not make him gm? they like him, but not that much?

so Fire Timmins and the entire Scouting dpmt and hire the guy who won the 6-49 twice?
rules are the same for all teams, for all scouts. some do a lot better than others. why should Habs settle for one who does worse?
we've just been unlucky for 18 years. flûte!

Come on now, that's not even close to what I said. Yes Timmins drafting has been poopty, but so has management. It all needs to be tore down and rebuilt properly through some tanking is what I'm saying. Relying on hiring a scout so good he can pull Points and Marchands out of his ass because the team isn't tanking properly is not a reliable formula. |
