Sorry I think I flagged you by accident. I expect the way the Canucks season is going that you'll probably pass them in the lottery anyhow.

Dunno if this place is even moderated anymore. There is a chance Demko goes beast mode and the Canucks end up higher in the standings after the series.

We're dressing an AHL team as a precaution. From this point all I really care about is watching the Oilers collapse in the first round, and the Leafs finding a new way to choke. It's the only normalcy I can glean from this year.

Only concern is we are likely interviewing guys like Benning, Botterill, Rutherford and *gulp* chia, all who in turn make treliving look like one of the best in the league. It’s simply the devil you know versus the one you don’t. My problem is a lot of the ones I don’t have done far worse with more to work with than what Tre started with.

I do believe that if the right man’s available we should seriously consider getting new eyes on the situation but for those that want to see Tre’s head on a spike no questions asked I would say be careful what you wish for.

I’d like to see Davidson brought in as prez, and I’d like to see what Mark Hunter can do at the nhl level. He’s got tons of experience in junior, both guys got ties to the city, that may sway them.
Not sure I trust this group anymore.

That’s fair enough. For me personally the Trust is still there as it’s my point of view that even Tre’s worst moves didn’t look nearly as bad at the time he made them.

As I’ve said before Gorton to me would be an acceptable choice as would davidson be. Hunter’s an interesting choice as I don’t see him leaving London for us and while I think he could be very good Toronto’s drafting was pretty abysmal during his time there which is a pretty large negative when you consider that’s his claim to fame.

That would actually be my one demand is that whoever comes in here keeps our current amateur scouting department. We’ve managed to get some quality talent throughout the later round since Tre took over and that’s something I’d like to see continue

At least no longer have to read about delusional fans saying poop like,

"There is still a chance!" and "I believe in this team, a real fan never gives up!".

They are out. Time to tank.

Kind of glad, now they can evaluate a few who are knocking on the door, like Mackay, Phillips, Ruzicka. This team needs some new life one way or another next season.

I honestly thought the flames were in at the start of the year. They have pieces that won’t require a blow up, it’ll be interesting to see what they do this summer. Would have loved to see the battle of Alberta in the playoffs.

If they can get Jack Eichel without a depleting the young talent, wow. Connor against Jack BOA. That poop would be amazing

Whats the current outlook on Phillips? I watched him a bunch on the Royals and thought he would pan out pretty well in the NHL. I just found his bobblehead at work the other day.

Very well but 7 years to build this team. How many more do you want to give him?
Me, I’ve seen enough, hope he’s the new GM in Vancouver.

I think the champs in the Nucks Thread would make that swap. Banning for Treliving sounds good but please make sure Treliving has his 20 variant vaccine shots please...many snowflakes in BC
