Let Kane teach em over the summer or in training camp. Just give the rookies ice time for the next two games. Kane’s effectiveness drops off when he plays heavy minutes. He basically cherry picks and is worse than normal about coming back. The kids do not need to learn that.

Beaudin is young and might get a lot better, but right now he seems to take a long time to process. Similar to Strome and Nylander.

To me a good 20 minute dmen has to have good hands, he's got that, like to see him get more time just to see if he gets acclimated to the speed of the NHL and begin to anticipate better, there's some real raw skill there

They may have made their mind up on Strome (holding him out, possibly so he does not get injured). Nylander, I believe, they are definitely going to give him every opportunity to make the team next year. Not because of who he was traded for, but because he represents (ideally) a near future top 6 option if he can put it all together. He also will come quite inexpensive in the short term.

I don't think that is why he is up. They have a ton of D prospects, and injuries have allowed them to give a few extra opportunities at the end of the year. I really think this is all that Regula playing is. He will most certainly be in Rockford all of next year.

Kurashev has slowed down but still had a solid rookie campaign. Kurashev definitely should be a fixture in the bottom 6 next season.

Hardman looks really good on the 4th line. Nothing flashy, kinda reminds me of an old time winger, up and down the ice, plays the wall, and has some offensive ability.
