With Wade getting 2 goals last night...
... and with the flow that he's sporting this season...
... combined with his attempt at sporting an honest growth of facial hair...
... as depicted in his official photo this year:
···
... it always reminded me of something, but I couldn't place it...
... until I came across this!:
Now someone with decent photoshop skills needs to take Wade's headshot above and add that Robin Hood hat and a bow and quiver of arrows (my skills aren't that great and I don't have the time to attempt a decent effort)... |

So are we all on board with turning some of this roster over like kings did in building cup winner? Including some of the youth not just vets? Or are some still hoping for glory with the vets or youth either way as constructed or willing to play the patience game

I’ll also add look how much better the d looked last night when slotted a little better. No (frank)ing bruan on top pair. No provy wasting energy on pp1. No poopty ghost in lineup. |

Take that game with a grain a salt. They’re missing players and coming down off a couple weird emotional games with the rangers. |

York played very well in his debut last night.
Please give him a different number, all I picture is a punching bag on skates . - PLindbergh31
York had a sublime debut, IMO. No first game jitters. He didn't look like he needed to make any adjustments to the speed of the game -- made a lot of pro plays under pressure, made them look easy.
Looking forward to seeing him stay in the lineup. |

This is true. Also I guess hard to look worse. Just kills me bruan on top pair. That dude shouldn’t be playing more than 10-12 minutes a night |

It is not his fault where he has been slotted. Braun has played really well given the circumstances...he gives his all. I certainly would be happy if he remains a Flyer as long as they aren’t asking him to do that again.

So does the fact that the OHL had no season, the WHL had a truncated season and the Q had a much larger season (and will be the only one to have playoffs) confer an advantage to the players heading to draft from the last?
Will there be a run on players from the Q as people start to take the sure thing over under-scouted prospects from the OHL? Does that mean we could get perhaps a high upside player from the OHL who would not be available usually outside the first 10 picks or so? |

To be fair, Washington didn’t have Ov last night but I agree. I think everyone on defense looked good and looked comfortable as slotted. |
