i disagree mainly because he was traded for the "old boys club" value. being buffaloed had nothing to do with his lack of speed or giving a (frank). he also pushed KK to wing a lot which made the habs a slower team
he is staying in the line-up because the coach doesn't have the chops to bench a long time vet even if he suck donkey balls.

I dunno, the way I see it is they simply wanted more experience at center since they had younger guys at that position, and it just didn't work out. I 100% agree though on DD, it's as if he was told to keep him in the lineup no matter what, hence the agreement with MB rumors lol

I agree gramps, but again my point is he had 19 goals and 28 assists during the 2019-20 season, so don't tell me that hoping he'd get better numbers than he was having in BUF was completely ridiculous... it wasn't a dumb move per se, but the fact they're unconditionally giving him this ice time is very dumb
