Belzile. We got Staal for faceoffs, he's been crap. - Darksyde
Worse, he is eating significant cap space making it harder for roster moves (until the injuries occurred).
And for the pleasure of having that, we gave up a 3rd and a 5th. |

Just please GOD say Gallagher is back for the playoffs, assuming we make it... - Darksyde
I'm guessing the answer is no but was there any news on his recovery recently..? considering how stubborn Gallagher is I'm 100% convinced he'll be there for game #1 but I'm just hoping he won't be taking a risk of hurting himself more seriously if he plays and hasn't fully recovered

Staal allegedly has an agreement with MB to stay in the lineup lol... - Pat1993
I would be kind of okay with Bergevin staying, but if that is true he has to go. You don't promise players a roster spot before you see them play in your team. Especially if that player is Eric Staal. |

Even if we get Price and Weber back, it's at least MENTALLY a huge boost. Could get us to the 2nd round. (If we make the 1st) |

I TRIED TO TELL YOU. but someone said him winning a SC 15 years ago mattered. - Gramps28
the gamble wasn't a turrible one, assuming that his play would improve with the habs compared to BUF wasn't far-fetched, he was putting up very decent numbers only 2 years ago, and they didn't overpay for him... the issue is he's always in the lineup even if he's playing poorly...

that's it. I don't give a poop about the picks. just bench him now that you saw him play. |

not saying it's impossible, but why would his future be discussed now? weird timing... I'd be surprised if MB was fired if the team actually wins a playoff round

i disagree mainly because he was traded for the "old boys club" value. being buffaloed had nothing to do with his lack of speed or giving a (frank). he also pushed KK to wing a lot which made the habs a slower team
he is staying in the line-up because the coach doesn't have the chops to bench a long time vet even if he suck donkey balls. |

not like the GM really has a role for the current season at this point. any monkey can handle the roster at this point. |

he could play him less, but he can't scratch him. unless they go with 7 Ds.
