Instead of putting goalless in 42 games Brett Howden out there how about someone in his place?
- nyrangers9479

I would've been good w/ that, but who would've taken his place? Another rookie?

I agree w/ you that the team had some holes , and that firing Gorton/JD isn't the end of the world.

it's because ADA is a conservative and he's a conservative, that's what this whole thing is about

This is why I’m keeping it hockey. People take this poop personally because they want to attach themselves to something that makes them feel victimized. The guy got chances and blew it. That’s my take. He could be from any political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, or whatever. Although he’s from south Jersey so that’s a strike.

He’s time and again shown he’s immature and a distraction so that’s a no from me. If he was being brought back I’d focus on where he fits in (which I don’t think he does given the roster) but that’s all hypothetical.

I'd LOVE TO KEEP IT TO HOCKEY

I just know him well enough to know why this ALWAYS goes back to Lemieux and ADA

Rick, didn't you hear. EVERYONE's feelings matter no a days.

I agree with you. ADA had a good year, and then couldn't keep himself in check. There is a lot more behind the scenes probably that we don't know.
I think some people need to move on.

I do think this summer is going to be interesting with trades and signing.

No it’s that he’s a good hockey player that brings an element we’re severely lacking that we’re going to lose for nothing bc of the egos of Quinn and Gorton.

I’ll caveat that while yes, everyone is entitled to feelings, it does not mean that because you are feeling it you are immune from scrutiny or inherently right. All that is to say that yes, please move the (frank) on from Voldemort until we have reason to talk about Voldemort

no, you are happy that JD and Gorton got fired for only one reason, that you see hope that ADA now has a new chance with the Rangers

that's it, nothing else matters

An undersized (and redundant with fox) RHD with offensive potential who has been disciplined by and/or booted out of every team he’s played for going back to juniors and an undersized enforcer with no discernible offensive skill who requested a trade?

Some people cannot let go until they somehow feel validated of their own truth.

No more ADA.

Schneider. I want to see this kid wreck some people next year. Straight up Scott Stevens open ice checks just making Wilson poop on his skates hits.

First guy I would trade is Kreider. His 20 -30 gaols can be replaced. Never watched a player with so much strength and speed and only use it 1 out of every 5 games. He could've been that guy who gave some push back to other teams. Not by fighting, but by crushing them w/ body checks. Does he ever do it??......NOPE!

Should've never resigned him.

We have Zib and Panarin. Besides them, every other guy should be taking the body and playing with grit.

It's gonna be interesting to see how that develops in training camp

I just want Lundkvist signed, or traded either way

I don't want that lingering into the summer wondering what's going on

I hear he plays on his off side so sign his ass and put him on the 3rd pairing with Schneider. But that doesn’t really fit in with the idea of adding experience on the blue line and I have no idea what’s to come. I think we’ll regret trading Nils

Kreider just seems like the guy so out of place with Lafreniere and Panarin here

Kreider absolutely played his best hockey when Panarin was hiding from Putin

Quinn could never really figure out how to get the most out of all 3 of these LW's playing at the same time
