I agree that it's far from a perfect situation for Primeau, ideally the guys in front of him could at least tighten the game and show a decent effort for the remaining 40 min. if he's back for the 2nd period

It was....but I’d rather not see Primeau used as a punching bag all night. We may need him again this season, there’s no guarantee Price will remain healthy so I’d prefer his confidence wasn’t completely ripped to shreds if he needs to step in during the playoffs

Bouchard was saying about Primeau that he has a lot of character and is a true competitor, not saying it's impossible that his confidence is affected but this bump in the road (although it seems like a big one lol) could be part of his learning curve
