Gustafsson had 60 points 2 years ago compared to 3 with Ghost.

While Ghost deserved the suspension (even more, if there were more games for the Flyers this season - Friedman was very lucky to not get seriously injured here and be out for six months) it is ironic that this suspension may actually hurt the Pens. It lessens the chances of the Flyers beating the Capitals in their upcoming games and thus makes it harder for the Pens to win the division.

Edit: and yeah, Wilson should be suspended for the entire playoffs for what he did. He and Parros must be friends or something. I read an article that stated that Parros didn't even want to suspend Wilson for his hit on Carlo that sent Carlo to the hospital but was overruled by Bettman.

Friedman is a dime a dozen 6-7 defenseman. We have enough third lime defenseman. We’ve got potentially Zamia and York next year. Morin, although I agree doesn’t have as good of a shot as a career NHLer. I do believe he’s got a higher upside than Friedman. A lot of fans dissed Hagg, for all the struggles that our defense had, Hagg wasn’t one of them. Hagg is and will be better than Friedman

i doubted it. a lot of the time when you really think things are going to erupt the following game, nothing happens. good for the rangers for stepping up. but still, (frank) them.

The suspension means nothing in reality but it is important to point out that the Flyers actually put Gostisbehere on waivers not long ago. He has been the teams best dman since his return and where would the pp be without him, lol. Whoever is running this ship seriously has no idea what they are doing. If not for the 4.5 cap he carries he would have been claimed but times are tough financially. I hope for Shane that he gets moved in the off season and shows the Flyers how dumb they really are. I will never forget Patrick Sharp who scored over 600 points in his career after being deemed not good enough by the Flyers. All the best Gost, at least i love ya!
