I know you were, but I didn't want that energy at you, taken the wrong way. Just checking.

Yeah, I kind of like Stillman and think he is the redass replacement for Z next season.

I don't know if Borgstrom can recapture/display some of what he did in college but if so, yeah that trade looks even better. Plus we got Connolly! Hope he's ok but if the Kracken pick him or deHaan next year that's a win.

To be honest, I’d rather that they take Connolly as he still has term, de Haan only has a year left and they can probably buy him out.

Or three career back-ups.

If there were enough games left in the season, Delia would give us a couple of very good showings - then crap out.

I’m still in on Lankinen going forward - in the 20 or so games that was was good, he showed a lot of positives - maybe he just hit a wall, maybe the league caught up to him and exploited his weaknesses. He and Waites and the coaches should know what those weaknesses are, and hopefully can work to overcome them over the summer. I’d look at rebound control, glove work, and puck handling when he tries to make a play. But positioning, puck-tracking, short side coverage - a lot to work with there, I think.

Hagel, Gaudette, Stillman, Borgstrum, Kalynuk, Kubalik, Suter, Beaudin, Kurashev, and Vegas 2nd round pick all obtained without giving up hardly anything.

Cue the Bowman napping picture.

Gaudette really looking good, btw.

FWIW: Colliton added that Delia's puckhandling looked "very improved." Used to be a major weakness in his game.

I've been harping on this for the last half of the season as a major issue with Hawk tenders. Ideally, they all work on that (and where to actually go with the puck) going forward.

McDavid had three points tonight = 96 with I think three or four games left to register a 100 pt season.

How many points would Kane get if he had a banger & DeBrincat or Kubalik. That depends if the second offensive line is legitimate. Dach and ? And.of course the dmen vastly improve.

New blog! A recap of the Blackhawks OT win over the Hurricanes to cap off the season series.

Plus, a look at a busy news day yesterday: Dach shutdown, Keith + Connolly concussions, Regula debut, and Galvas signing.
