No reason not to have Delia play out the string, these last few games mean nothing (to the Hawks)

I think ultimately Lankinen hit the rookie wall, which is when his play became so inconsistent. Subban has showed why he is a career backup, he has moments/games of brilliance, but overall he has poor rebound control, lets in far too many soft goals and looses his net too often.

I'm pretty sure Delia is not ever going to be a #1 in the NHL, but maybe he proves he can be a backup.

It was his 2nd game. Without looking it up, I believe he had 2 shots and 3 hits in 6 minutes in his 1st game.

Ahh, thank you. I know he's your boy, so I figured you'd have all the info on him. Here's to hoping he builds off of those showings.

Just a note to Paulie, the Chunkster and Bread....I noticed those shots you took earlier, and will avenge them later with a forearm shiver in the corner. You are fortunate that I am a floater who rarely gets near a corner.

And I'm an inexperienced failure coach in every league that will make sure you see as much ice time as possible to almost get your payback.

Are we still talking about hockey, or my liquor problem?

You know darn well, there it too much arthritis in your elbow to throw a proper forearm shiver. I ain't scared.

You, along with several others, have been high on him for a while. I liked what he brought. Especially on the goal. Speed to get around the D. Put quick shot on net off a pad to create a scoring chance. Really good board play too.

For the same reasons I'd rather give this Canes game to Lankinen and close the season out against Stars with Morris and Tomkins each getting one. Sticking with Delia seems like a waste. And keeping Lankinen out of all three games vs. Carolina is odd.

I like the line he’s on tonight, hopefully he gets a few more minutes.

I'm not sure how likely it is to happen in these last few games, but I'd like to see how he does on the PK. The speed and range would definitely be assets.

Poor Regula. He's going to have to do all the work on that pairing:

Gaudette-Suter-Kane
DeBrincat-Kurashev-Hagel
Kubalik-Kampf-Connolly
Hardman-Entwistle-Hinostroza

Stillman-Murphy
Keith-Kalynuk
Zadorov-Regula

Thanks all for the kudos on the message board this morning. Really appreciate your readership and community here.

Sorry for being MIA a lot lately. Getting swamped at work. I tweet once in a while since that's easy to do from my phone but have an odd habit of wanting to add posts to the message board on my the computer only.

Hardman - Only 22. Theo would you say a comparison could be Tyler Motte?
- -Doh-

As for a comparable for Hardman, I see glimpes of Alex Killorn actually. Not sure if he can be as productive but style is similar.

Nice to see that they've realized taking an icing is not a bad play sometimes.

Did someone leave gum on the ice? Murphy (and a number of other players) have all taken dumps just skating around.

Keith’s skills have declined to where he is looking like Seabrook out there the past couple of years

Yeah, I don't like to pile on, but he's not even handling pucks well anymore. I don't really fault him for taking a knee to the head, but it's like the reflexes aren't there anymore.

I was typing as that play happened, I was commenting on how slow he is now before that play.

I'm happy so far. Regula has been steady thus far. Keeping things simple and actually connecting on passes.

God this team doesn't have any situational awareness. 6 seconds left and they are dusting the puck off in their own zone.

Delia playing well.
Hardman and Entwistle are a really nice start of a line.
Stillman looks like the best D on the ice.
If I had to pick a center to move to wing it would be Kurashev. He works the walls really well.
