ii beleive that hockey as whole needs to get tougher . I agree Rangers are a weak team which other teams could exploit in the future . Last nights game was one of the best this season i will tell you know one that was watching this game turned their tv off

That 250k fine is such a disgrace. NHL is effectively saying player safety doesn't matter. The department of player safety is just there for appearances. $5k fine for almost ending a great player's career, but 250k for just speaking out about it. They clearly have their priorities figured out.

A lotta folks in the media seem to be talking about what happened to Panarin, but to me the egregious BS Wilson did was what happened to Buchnevich, knocking buddy's head into the ice when he's down. That's the kind of aggro knee jerk action that eventually leads to a Steve Moore incident. Tom Wilson sucks and I don't like that part of the game, never have. He can play fine, but it's despite the fact he's a dangerous antagonist, not because of it. Dolan is a proven goof, so his actions are less surprising - Rangers will look amazing in short order, and Drury will probably be heralded as a genius because humanity has the brains of goldfish.
