Tom Wilson just destroyed the entire management of the Rangers.

He should get fined for slewfooting the GM.

Now that the Knicks are doing better Dolan now has to micro manage the Rangers now! He is a complete A Hole and will now take the steps to ruin a great rebuild. I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HE DID THIS

Dolan is a moron. How did a team that has had two lotto picks in the last couple of years underachieve? Watch him bring in Chiapet.

I'm really not sure what Dolan could have possibly been expecting. The Rangers have done very well considering they are only 2 years into a needed rebuild. Would the playoffs have been nice? Sure, but they have seen notable development of a number of their young players. In comparison to the mess we have 90 miles to the south, I'd say the Rangers were doing just fine. Now what is the plan I wonder.

The Rangers have made me a fan in 48 hours. They called out the league rightfully so. If what is said unless post about the team to be tougher and the GM being a post to the public statement then I love this move to. They are in a great position to succeed and Chris Druery is one of the most sought after GM candidates. This seems like an amazing move for the Rangers. And if they go get tougher because of it hell yeah.

Mark Messier was just on The Michael Kay Show and said not only did he have no knowledge about the news, but said he hasn't spoken to anyone in the organization for years. He did say he is waiting to get a call so he can help out. He did express interest in coaching, but did not come across as if that was the only area he was interested in. Don't forget he was a top candidate for GM until Gorton fell into Sather's lap, and he choose Gorton over Messier. And according to Emily Kaplan of ESPN, she said multiple sources stated this was NOT related to the statement issued yesterday and that statement came from Dolan's crew, not Davidson and Gorton. Maybe we need a statement from the organization to get more clarity on all of this.

Very strange. I thought they were doing a good job in New York. I think they will both go to Toronto in the summer and help right the ship after another disappointing 1st round waiting to happen.

You can bet the farm Sather had a lot to do with this and after seeing Messier statement he also had his hand in it as well. As much as I love Mess, he's a man who will step on people to get what he wants his way.

The Rangers want to possibly hire Messier? Based on what? His name? He has ZERO experience In hockey beyond his playing career. Lol.

Ek didn’t watch the replays.

Wilson has both hands on his stick. Buch got caught between Wilson’s chest and stick and falls. Wilson doesn’t let go of his stick and gets pulled down. In retaliation, he punches his shoulder and grabs his jersey to pull him off his stick.

Panarin then bites off more than he can chew and gets ragdolled. There was no hair pull. The only questionable thing was the initial slam of Panarin to the ice but he didn’t go out on that shift to hurt him - he had the dude hanging off his back attacking him. Panarins head never touches the ice but it could have been bad.

That’s why your LIFE BAN take is hot garbage. Watch the replays. Get a clue.

Also, (Frank) Tom Wilson

Shoulder punch around 1:06

Buch falls on Wilson’s stick and pulls him down at 1:34

We are only talking about this so much BECAUSE it was Tom Wilson.

What is Tom Wilson supposed to do? Just let everyone jump in his back and not do a damn thing?

Just read the Larry Brooks rationale around what happened.

Wow!

The vultures are probably lining up offering great, high priced, older talent for prospects. This whole thing is just totally ugly.

If you think Chris Drury knows more than Davidson and Gorton then you should shove an ice pick deep into your ear.

I had been led to believe JD interfered with the Knicks but left the Rangers to the hockey people. Why does he pull a change up at this point? There's more going on here we know nothing about.
