It's just incredible that JV is now being used as a "well he was the BPA and that's why BPA doesn't always work." I don't even care about the BPA/needs based argument. I just think it's disingenuous to use JV as an example for BPA.

I'll leave aside that this is subtly being used as a JB defense with a dash of "he was a FA pick anyway."
