A few things..
IP isnt the biggest barrier here - biggest issue is that our governments have basically desinvested from vaccine r&d and manufacturing over the last 40 years.
Vaccine manufacturing is tough and tech transfer can take up to a few years. It isnt like making some Ikea furniture..

Can't blame pharma companies for wanting to make money, it's their whole raison d'etre.
(Amazon guy is making a bigger load of money during the pandemic, there really isn't a big difference there.).

Have to blame our governments for complete failure over the last decades. I sat down many times with government officials last 10years on how vaccines and essential drugs, diagnostics etc are crucial to people's well-being and the economy and therefor our governments should take responsibilities - and they just didn't want to understand it.

Sure, the Pfizer management making millions of bonuses on a mediocre vaccine is absurd. Government leaders sleeping away on healthcare while pissing away billions on non essential programs is way worse though.

I get that they’re there for profit and certainly understand the underfunding of healthcare. I don’t understand all the details - gearing up manufacturing, distribution, whatever - of getting vaccines into the arms of the poorest nations but it would seem that spreading out the intellectual property couldn’t hurt.

I also don’t believe that a few bucks weren’t made and that the big boys won’t step up to the plate I’m a similar scenario. I get the point that waiting till the last second isn’t the best idea.

whether we individually agree or not - how do you suspend Edler for the 2-3 games for the leg on Hyman and not give Wilson real tangible suspension. The disparity in how the suspensions are handed out is an absolute joke. Edler's case no head contact in play, absolutely clear two separate questionable moves by Wilson involving the head.

more or less... yes - certainly where a head contact is involved... I have a harder time when someone gets a leg injury where you can argue there wasn't blatant attempt to injure... any head shot should be dealt with that way.
