Far from the same thing. But, it was very poor optics and something should come of it. If they were actually concerned with player safety, that is.

Sid's always been "untouchable". The NHL doesn't want their superstars beaten to a pulp. I'd pay to see that, though.
As for Malkin, lucky for him the NHL frowns on fighting these days, lol.....he's a big boy, but to your point, he's probably due for a good "tuning". |
