A few fights and the hockey liberals have to pull their pants up start lecturing everyone. It was nice to see real hockey culture in full swing for once. When it gets choked out for so long there’s bound to be a poop show like this every once in awhile. Ratings were probably best of the season.

That was a f'n side show circus last night, man. A disrespect to the game. I don't mind fights and actually enjoy them when they're good and serve a purpose, which is very rare, but that was all stupid last night, especially when you consider why it was happening at all... because Tom Wilson was being rough after a whistle two nights before. Yeah haha and honestly it irritates me a bit...I didn't tune in to support that sh!t. Watched the highlights this morning with a cuppa Joe.

EDIT: now that I think of it...using Sportsurge probably wouldnt of been effecting ratings and "supporting" it at all hahah

I definitely expected this from you lol. I love physical hockey and I don't want it to go away. I enjoy fights when they make sense. There's just a point where the league looks like a circus and how this all unfolded is just ridiculous.

Uh, we've been tossing Kuzy's name around the trade rumors for like 2 years now. Vrana was enemy #1 for the past 2 post-seasons. Most Caps wants/wanted both of them off the team. Vrana was known to be an issue for weeks prior to his trade, and was healthy scratched multiple times. Kuzy has been on the hot seat all year.

What I find so weird about responses like his, which isn't that uncommon, is acting like there's a segment of hockey fans who don't like the physicality of hockey. I'd say a good portion of people on here have probably been watching hockey for a good part of their lives, so it's safe to say that everyone here enjoys violent sports, which is so bizarre when people try to label some as liberal-type hockey fans lol

I think the biggest difference between people who have been long-time hockey fans is just the degree of dirty crap we want in the game.

Yeah, but I don’t think it matters to be honest unless WSH loses one of their last three.

I keep thinking about avoiding Boston and it really doesn’t matter. If the Pens get the Isles in round 1 and advance, they’ll still likely have to face Boston in round two.

It's crazy how many possibilities there still are with so few games left. The Pens and Caps could poop the bed allowing Boston to leapfrog into first.

I love what the rags did. Do they have anyone tough to actually send a message, with Kreider out no, but (frank) it. Let’s say Wilson took rag dolled Sid and no one did a damn thing I’d be choked. I’d want 6 fights in the first 5 minutes. I’d want Jarry to go punch vanacek in the Richard. Even if it’s blueger starting poop with sheary. Point is that they have his back. No pen could win a fight vs Wilson but I’d hope someone would cheap shot him or just man up and take the L.
