IDK.... I think it's always been rock bottom. The most inconsistent professional sport by a mile. You can watch b2b games and have it appear as though it's a completely different set of rules in a 24 hour span.

Why is everyone pinning this on the Rangers? Laviolette didn't start the game with his scoring line. He had the first move and he chose to send out four agitators and Hagalin.

This is far from out of character for a Laviolette coached team. He likes to intimidate and agitate his opponents. He did it in Philly and Nashville.
