And I agree that Konecny should have been given a holding penalty, but come on...if positions were reversed and Konecny drove Crosby's face into the ice and punched him, RW would be calling for assault charges (see: Dubinsky, Brandon). Bush league moves by TK, Crosby, and the officials.

It’s the NHL. I came to the conclusion last season that player safety doesn’t exist and it is what it is. I’ll be happy to relitigate Tom Wilson if the NHL ever gives a poop, but for now, I’m kind of over discussing it all.

The refs should put the whistles away. Games are way better when players aren’t tippy toeing around worried about a penalty. Players like this, hockey people like this. Crosby can handle konecny

I don't disagree, he is all class, however if you want to send a message to Wilson, the caps and the league you take out one of the opposing players stars. And when you get asked you tell them the league didn't do anything so we did. wilson took out our best player we are going to do the same unless the NHL steps up.

As someone who would get his ass kicked by Wilson. I would either board him, allow him in the face or beat up maybe sheary. But yeah I’m a sick I’d take out their star players for sure.

That's why I didn't think anything would happen. Getting embarrassed in fight after fight isn't the answer.

Messier says the team is weak. He’s been standing by for years I forming nyr he wants a job with them. Between Burke and nyr this division might get rough if gm’s can find the right players.

Thats the exact point of doing exactly what they are doing. Everyone’s tired of Wilson’s shiit so when he does it again his teammates have to deal with his actions and not just him. That will get old very fast for not only his teammates but the management as well.
