I think they got fired because Zibanejad got COVID and sucked for 70% of the season, Panarin was injured for most of it but when on the ice was a Hart Level Player, Laf and Kakko have sucked.

personally i think the point is more that something like that doesn't get published without the owner's full consent. and Dolan is a bit of a nutjob and i kinda assume he spearheaded this thing.

To me the move makes little sense from an hockey point of view, they turned this team around in a year and make them competitive. They succeed where most teams struggled. And the timing is so akward...
