What we are hoping for:

Montreal beats Ottawa.

Winnipeg beats Vancouver.

That eliminates Calgary, and sets the magic number for elimination for Vancouver at 1.

If Winnipeg wins in regulation tonight, I believe that clinches them a spot (Vancouver can't catch them).

Even Roy Orbison would be a career minus on the Sabres.

Vancouver is exhausted and done. Their next 3 games are possibly the most rested they are going to be for the remainder of the year (Edmonton x 2, Winnipeg), but they play 9 games in 14 days. They've already lost 6 in a row. I don't think anything is going to get better for them this year.
