There is a difference between players who play on the edge and guys who try to hurt people. IMO Wilson is a guy who steps on the ice with the intention to hurt people. He is the definition of a predator and this predator could have given two of the leagues most successful players this season concussions or worse in the same altercation. He really needs to be stopped before he breaks someone's neck.

I have also seen Panarin fight and he can handle himself if you mess with the bull you may get the horn just sayin .

He'll get a lesser suspension than what Kadri got, twice.

I have less of a problem with the boarding that he got 7 games for. You can at least argue that happened in the midst of the play and things were moving fast, poor angles, etc (still bad, but you can at least ARGUE it)

Back in the day??? Panarin is not going to fight Tom Wilson and apparently Tom Wilson is not going to fight Parnarin. The only thing i was any good at playing was fighting but I wasn't good enough to do anything with it, I love a good scrap. I think fighting has a place and should be allowed in the game but that was complete and total horse poop. Wilson plays on the edge and it (can be) effective. That was garbage! No a ban isn't fitting but that was more than deserving of a suspension.

I'm all for fighting and rough stuff on the ice but this guy is going to kill someone.

So is your issue with the fight or the punch to the shoulder and pulling Buch's jersey to get his stick out?

I can see your point with it not being a fight because he didn't drop his gloves or stick and that's fair, I would agree with you. But I would also point out that Wilson is quite a bit bigger and stronger, if he had of dropped his gloves and actually had a fight, he likely would do more damage.

I'd also argue that the reaction to a light punch on the shoulder and a tug on a jersey was over blown. All that needed to happen was a stoppage of the play (which it was being stopped anyways), Wilson and Buch would have both gotten up safely and Wilson likely would have gotten a penalty.

The part I am most ashamed of Wilson for is actually after, while he was in the box mocking the Rangers, That was the most uncalled for part about it.

If he gets suspended, it should be for that, simply for mocking the game.

Any idiot that thinks this is old time hockey or that it’s ok should slap yourself !! Old time hockey was face to face man to man not this crap this sad piece of crap pulls !! Try that to a man your own size and facing you !!! Wilson is a joke !!!
