beyond being faster they have 11 of there 18 skaters are 6-2 or more. games like this makes me want to bring shalnuv a look. along with Borgstrom for more length and reichel with more speed. for next year. how many hawks would be in the lineup for carolina? 5?

As much as hate to say just stay the course. Figure out after the season and next who is part of the future and who isn't. Imo hawks have too many of same type of player 4th line players and 3rd line fringe players. Now hopefully this year is hugh learning experience for the young players and next year they that experience and continue to develop and get better.
Well at the beginning of the year wasn't expecting much from the team. Got my hopes there for a bit but in the end they are where I thought they would be, lousy. It's a re-build and at this point no indication that they will be a competitive team in the near future.
They have too many young defenceman that are too small , going forward I just don't think you can have 4 defenceman that size in the line up at the same time.Check the size of Tampa, Wasington, Vegas ect. Dosnt help the only big defenceman we have suck. I know some say they have been competitive this year but i disagree they have not been good for most of the season
They are more than 1/2 way through an NHL game with seven shots on goal. Almost the whole team is coasting right now. I'll give Gaudette, Hino and Hagel credit. They are at least skating out there. - Chunk
I've seen Carolina in person against Chicago in Raleigh. They are very hard to play against they take your spirit away. We don't have good enough players to counter their smothering style.

You and I both. The silver lining is that we have some good young Dmen that will be around when we make the playoffs, and there’s some good young middle six forwards as well, then there’s about four or five guys that belong in the AHL. - Angotti

The NHL will need to sell tickets as the pandemic ends. Bench clearing brawls like from the 1960's would help. Tom Wilson would be an important guy in starting them.
