I am not sure who is the worst coach in Hawks history but I would have to say Colliton is right there with the likes of Alpo "bark, bark" Sohonen... - FourOrr
Well if you go by win percentages, Trent Yawney was pretty awful

Well, the silver lining is they'll be pretty rested for the 3rd. |

Yes but he was a good coach in Norfolk developing players especially with the defensemen and has had been a pretty good assistant coach elsewhere. |

Not just the blue line buddy. - Chunk
I agree and disagree, i would even argue that if teams switched blue lines it'd be very difficult for the Canes to do anything. I do think Canes forward group are better but that blue line is light years better than ours. |

Who on our blue line would dress for the top 4 dmen on this Carolina team - BetweenTheDots
It depends on who is injured. |

Very nice, hahaha
My question is how much is the over rated Dougie Hamiltons next contract is? |

In theory, yes, but the majority of our forwards are barely even skating tonight, so it's hard to say anything definitely

Probably because they're so busy chasing in the defensive zone tonight
Playing defense and being forced to stay on the ice for longer shifts because you can't get the puck out of your own zone, game after game after game takes a toll |

Canes scored because of defensive breakdowns & 1 Subban flub. Not the forwards fault. Maybe a poor pass or whatever by the forwards, but Canes makes us pay because of poor d play. |

I can't argue any of that. What I will say is that they can't establish or maintain any time in the offensive zone at all, which would cut down on the exhaustion, and put more pressure on the other team. |

And the better dmen help sustain pressure in the ozone, that's why I'm glad Bowman is drafting all these dmen |

Agreed. Getting dump-ins would help as well. Canes good at shot blocking too, really helping keep those numbers down.
Liking Delia in the game so far. |

Let me get this straight, from what I’m reading here their defense is light years ahead of ours and their offense is better than ours, and yet many are surprised the score is 4-1, interesting. |

I'm not sure who is surprised? Most label us as "suck." |

I'm not quite sure what your idea of "many" is here. I'm not happy with the way they are playing at all, but I sure as heck didn't expect much better. |

You and I both. The silver lining is that we have some good young Dmen that will be around when we make the playoffs, and there’s some good young middle six forwards as well, then there’s about four or five guys that belong in the AHL. |
