Power & Beniers may look to be the more obvious choices at defense & forward, but they seem to have limited ceilings- while other options:
like Guenther, is averaging 2pts per game (wow) in the WHL,
& Eklund is killing it in Sweden outscoring last year top10 picks Holtz & Raymond
Seems like the latter have more upside from what I’ve been reading
With our lack of a scouting department & limited front office staff....
I’d hate to see us play it safe & miss out on a guy with higher upside bc we played it safe

With basically no NHL goalie on our roster right now, it looks like worst overall is locked up. I don't see us winning the last 4 games. Maybe gain a point out of pure luck, but that's about it.

With how horrible our season has gone, I pretty much welcome ANY topic in here. If people want to argue about Biden, Trump, Cuomo, Fauci, masks, vaccines, sexism, racism, abortion, aliens, or bigfoot - go for it ! I won't get bent out of shape over any of it. If we were thick in the playoff hunt and talking about our lineup for the first round, sure...all of those topics can take a back seat.
