I want to fight to keep Rhino for selfish reasons. However, our defense is just killing us. We can probably take a loss of a center, but we need to upgrade def badly. Think I could watch my boy go score 30 for another team if we can fix this and make the playoffs.

Skinner on Jack's wing will be fine (I Hope). Seattle isn't taking him. Okposo may be someone they would though.

IF Samson has to go, maximize return. Use a 2nd and one of our AHL d prospects to move Okposo. From there, I think you have enough to really invest in the D.

You're right (again, I hope) that Pegs are leary of signing long term max contracts. That being said, if you're going to do it, Douggie is the type of player you do it for.

if dahlin continues this play, you can probably pair him with anyone and come out ahead in top pair minutes

i think the key acquisition is a 2nd pair guy who can go at least even with anyone

With 3yrs of experience, he needs to pick it up though. We shall see how much Star not in front affected his game, or has he hit what he is gonna be. Allen doesn't see that 5th year option, his extension is signed before camp ends.
