miller 1.34 points per start 70-30-9
biron 1.3 points per start 33-12-4
we all know lindy did the back ups no favors and threw them out vs the tough teams on the road
is the gssa a fancy stat? - homiedclown
Goals Saved above league average
in 2005-2006 the Sabres won 20, 1 goal games (not counting games that had empty netters to make it more than a 1 goal game because that's way too much work) There is a 15 goal difference between Miller and Marty
Or if you want adjusted goals against average 2.66 for Miller 2.95 for Marty
The gap is much bigger than you think

They should have hired him over Ralph, but there is no way they hire someone not from North American at this point |

Agreed. Either it's a proven name or it's Granato. I think Leaman is out |

Carolina's owner has said they'll get a deal done with him so who knows if he even makes it that far |

I have no problem with Granato as Coach, go and get a 1RD that can play shut down D to pair with Dahlin, he needs that. Get rid of Risto, sorry but he is just not good. If McCabe is ready resign him and put Joker as his partner. I am fine with Borgen Bryson as your 3rd pair. And go get a goalie that can play, I would be calling Arizona and Columbus. And lastly bring in some grit. |

Quinn played with a sports hernia this year. No idea if he'll be good but that's worth mentioning. Also, 9p in 15gp isn't too bad |

How are u not getting that i don’t care about this debate???
You don’t like Miller.... FINE
I’m not here making an argument that he should or shouldn’t be in the HOF
And I’m not wasting my time debating it with you
The end - jdfitz77
Innocent bystander observation : I've noticed you keep saying things like this. You get into arguments upon arguments, followed by statements like the bolded above ... which keep going on and on and on. Instead of saying "I don't care about this" and "I'm not wasting my time debating it with you" for another hour or two, just stop. Or leave. Start another topic ... anything but repeated replies of "i'm not going to keep on arguing about it" for hours on end.
Just some advice.

Time to play Name Some Guys:
Sergei Berezin! - jcragcrumple
I could go for another Ziggy Palffy
713 points in 684 games in the heart of the dead puck era
Edit: And only once in his career, as a full time NHLer, did he not finish a season with at least 1 point per game; he was 29 and had 59 points in 63 games. |

Where I resurrected it from and would check Terry’s fanboy stiffy... could be a solid coach... but Donny has done ok with a roster of kids, ruined by Ralph and devoid of an nhl goalie.
Adams has to nail the hire. If it’s Donny, great. Get him a solid assistant. If it’s not, run the interviews.
If it’s Rod the bod, they better have the skinner discussion EARLY! I still don’t see Rod getting out of Carolina.
Then it’s the retreads or the beard... got an interesting few months coming up.
I wonder if Adams has contacted any of the unemployed coaches just to have a general discussion on interest... |

Yeah, i could just ignore the repeated attempts, but i feel that’s rude.
If someone posts at me, I’ll generally respond- unless it’s just nonsensical trolling.... then I’ll usually ignore it- or try to anyways
I’m generally down for debating with ppl on here
But I’m trying to be better about going on for pages & pages all that much- especially if it’s a topic idc all that much about.
In this case, i just didn’t feel like each of us recycling the same points over & over again.
We’ve had the Miller debate before-
more than once.
I just didn’t feel like doing it again |
