Habs suck even more.

Habs still suck - just not as much.

Definitely was a solid game. Especially Sandin but Hutton and Lily looked pretty good too. Have to wonder if the emergence of Sandin and Lily is going to push Holl and Dermott out there.

Nice part is resting our top guys. Make sure we aren’t really banged up going forward into the post season.

It would take quite a run of poop play for Holl to get pushed out. He's played big boy minutes this year. Yeah he's had some rough outings but overall he's been a solid partner for Muzz.

Leafs are going to throw a game or two of those three games left if necessary - for the rivalry.

Hopefully I can find some as I don’t want to order $50 worth and find out it sucks.
I’ll keep you posted

Agreed, I didn't love the fight but it's something the Leafs have been missing over the years and it shows in the playoffs. Simmonds didn't destroy Edler, he got a few shots in and that was it, could have been much worse. It's really more about sending a message across the league that you're not going to get away with things which will hopefully pay off in the playoffs.

Do it on a boarding or a cross check, not a marginal play like that with a player like Edler. Sandin and Thornton and Matthews playing a little feisty are sending more of a message than Simmonds. That message was only about him trying to stay in the lineup.

Really like how big Sandin plays for his size. Quite surprised

I think it was for team too, affirming that this is a different Leafs now. Edler had to bleed as a sacrifice to the hockey gods

They looked horrible.

Didn't manage to win despite at least 2 very "meh" goals by Allen.

I think others did that way more effectively than Simmonds. I’d like just to see him play better

If they keep sucking, Habs might end up facing the Oilers...

It’s obvious the Jets would rather face the Leafs first round, than the Oilers.

With some guys back, Habs match up pretty good vs Oilers.

Did Lilly break Motte last night? Coworker from our BC location was giving me the gears, whining and crying about the dirty Leafs.

I’m not worried about it. Edler didn’t have to drop the gloves, but probably thought that was a better option than being pursued all game - where he really could get hurt. Few seconds and it was done, over with, and forgotten.

Jets are only team that have an edge in one position - goal. Leafs are better than every other team in every other category

LOL. This guy is disenchanted with the NHL right now, so he didn’t watch. He said he had only one option...to believe what he was reading on the local news sites.

Sandy looks good, like really good. He’s another solid trade deadline line addition they didn’t have to trade for.

He gets women to dress up in umpire gear and then spits at them.
