My lord. That cat is freaky, I’d be chasing it the frank downstairs.
Our cat is starting to bully our dog. I’ve reprimanded the dog for harassing the cat since he was a pup, so now he doesn’t think he can defend himself against the cat. Cat has taken advantage of that lately and is becoming an effin Richard. All I have to say is “What did you do?”, and the cat bolts to the basement. |

Meh once you get to the 3rd round it’s all good teams that are on hot streaks and are relatively healthy. - Santo_44
That’s true but only one very good team adds having to adjust to oxygen issues because of altitude. |

only 2 possible outcomes.. Win the Cup or get swept by the Habs in the first round. - PatC80
I have a feeling that when we finally break through and win a round there will be no stopping us.
But first things first. |

So let me get this straight, Doug Ford is now responsible for beer price increases because the brewers are now able to charge more ... and the free market economy has shown that people will pay a higher price. I guess Doug Ford is to blame for capitalism. - Aetherial

I used to come down and find the dog with the cat’s head inside his mouth, just gently gnawing away. The cat is in charge but they are best buds. The cat escaped once but the dog caught him and his big paw on him till we got there. They always come up to each other and give each other sniffs.
We got another cat and the two play. The dog wants to join in but it just isn’t happening. |

OTTAWA, ON, April 1, 2021 /CNW/ - Today, the federal government's excise tax on beer has increased for the fifth time in four years, and the second time during the pandemic. This increase will place additional stress on struggling bars and restaurants, as well as the 149,000 Canadians whose jobs are supported by the production and sale of beer.
Second beer tax increase during the COVID-19 pandemic harmful to bars, restaurants and Canada's economic recovery.
Despite ongoing calls by more than 250 businesses and organizations requesting that the federal government put a freeze on beer taxes to provide much-needed relief to the hospitality sector, one of the highest beer tax rates in the world – almost 50% of the price of beer – has gone up yet again.
...Doug Ford's fault. - Aetherial beer is an inelastic good, people will continue to consume it at the same rate as before

Our cat is an bumhole.
Cat just turned 10. He may be old...but he’ll die.
Cat will be whacking the dog so hard you can hear it in another room. Dog just stands there for a sec, gets the pace, then starts bobbing and weaving his head, making the cat miss. It’s hilarious to watch. I wish I could video it. I call the dog, Ali when he gets going. But lately the cat is sneak attacking from behind and being very aggressive I step in. |

Doug Ford was responsible for the Buck a Beer idea. that failed - PatC80
It didn't fail at all.
It was brilliantly successful.
The purpose of the program wasn't to actually get cheap beer in stores.
The purpose of the program was to appeal to a certain demographic in the election.
Cynical? Yeah, sure.
But it was also pretty franking brilliant. Apparently they had a crazily-targeted campaign - bought ads through X-Box (don't ask me to explain - I didn't know X-Box had ads). |

it failed in the sense that only Cool Beer Brewing agreed to sell their beer under the buck a beer program..
I get that it he went after 50+ beer guzzling male vote, but no other brewing company considered it. |

That was a nice goal he scored by going to the net last night. Or in the game before. Or that end to end play he started by covering for the D in his own zone. - Zezel
i was a big fan of greedy willi and b!tch marner before they’re holdouts and subsequent disappearances in the playoffs🤦♂️
now i just view them as greedy little boyz racking pointz up for their next contracts🤦🏿♂️
i will have to see some more heart in the playoffs from these two creampuffs before i advocate for their retentions at the expense of grown men like hyman, foligno, muzzin, the Wayne train🤦♂️
reilly has turned out to be a pu$$y too
he can’t defend or score either🤣
the only time we jizzed over him was when he was scoring just like any dman you lemmings used to jizz over🤦♂️
kaberle, kubina, percy, tyson barely come to mind🤦🏿♂️
dubass should’ve put reibust on the tradeblock
ESPECIALLY knowing he had the great sandini and all of these other scorers like roberts and the other ones that augs has been laying out over the last two years🤦♂️ |

But it would contradict the Ford governments policies.
Us non golfers aren't allowed to get together with 3 friends but we could if we take up golfing?
But they should allow couples, residents of the same household and singles on the courses, and as far as I remember the driving range was done alone. - bobbyisno1
I understand this argument.
It just really sucks. I have 2 passions in life outside family. That’s golf and hockey. We have limited months already to play golf and being shut down isn’t great. Especially being the only province that it’s being shutdown in right now.
I’m a miserable bastard right now, but I get how people would be upset because you can technically hang out with your friends while you play. Which is half the fun of golf. If only we could still allow socially distant gatherings outside of like 5 people and then you can have both. |

I realize that I'm totally to blame for scrolling through comments on Twitter, but I really have to ask:
Even if golf was "only a rich white man's sport" (it isn't), why does that make it wrong to demand that the golf courses get opened up?
It's an industry. It employs thousands of people.
Even rich white guys need exercise.
The ban is stupid.
I'll allow the argument that the golf industry should be calling for the opening of all outdoor activities - not just golf - but c'mon, they are lobbying for their livelihood.
The science says that closing golf courses won't help stop the spread of COVID.
Income levels of golfers is irrelevant. - Atomic Wedgie
