Deuce!

But FIRST time caller, and I know this is a stupid question, but I just must have missed the info....

How does the playoff format work?

Canadian Division,

Top 4 makes it?

Does 1 play 4 and 2 play 3?

Then the winners of those rounds play to win the Canadian Division?

Then the winner of the Canadian Division plays in the US for the Conference Finals?

Then the Cup round?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

After they get to the semis, they seed according to divisional points: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. I’m not sure if they can call anything Conference Championships.

That’s why I’ve been keen to finish ahead of the Eastern Division (Caps right now), to avoid a 3rd round matchup against the west, especially having to travel to Colorado.

Definitely was a solid game. Especially Sandin but Hutton and Lily looked pretty good too. Have to wonder if the emergence of Sandin and Lily is going to push Holl and Dermott out there.

Nice part is resting our top guys. Make sure we aren’t really banged up going forward into the post season.

If the leafs lose to mtl first round this place will be a mess.
- bryant

odds of seeing a great Habs team showing up in the first round is almost impossible at this point. They are banged up, exhausted because of the week off because of the covid break (armia) and the condensed schedule and they are completely disorganized now. Not the same team we saw the first two months

might want to take it easy next week and let MTL win a couple games or else you will end up with Calgary in the first round
- Symba007

I agree. Markstrom was in fire last night.

Agreed.

I guess they go in there with no real pressure though. They got nothing to lose because the Leafs will be obvious favorites.

That works sometimes? Maybe?

Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar has been placed on the ineligible list after MLB investigated a 2014 allegation of sexual misconduct. He had been working for MLB as a consultant.

good on the Jays

In statement, Blue Jays say they're cutting all ties with Roberto Alomar, taking his name down from Level of Excellence and pulling down his banner from Rogers Centre rafters.

Mike Augello: “Maintenance” Leafs make mince meat of Canucks
- mikeinbuffalo

it’s funny how floater willi doesn’t need a “maintenance day and never has because he’s had alligator arms since he got laid out his rookie season🤦‍♂️

his last boo boo in a long time was a potential llorona virus infection due to his own misconduct🤦🏿‍♂️

he’s “floated” above any accountability for his greedy holdout, sh!tty season and subsequent dog d!ckings like being exposed to the most deadly virus in history and blowing off a team meeting🤦‍♂️

hopefully foligno, wayne train and jumbo joke get him straightened out before playoff quarantine👍🏿

what a fcucking joke🤦‍♂️

edit: nice alliteration👍🏿

Let's just say that back in the day, there were stories about him and his conduct in Toronto, which make this story not super shocking.

Meh once you get to the 3rd round it’s all good teams that are on hot streaks and are relatively healthy.

I realize that I'm totally to blame for scrolling through comments on Twitter, but I really have to ask:

Even if golf was "only a rich white man's sport" (it isn't), why does that make it wrong to demand that the golf courses get opened up?

It's an industry. It employs thousands of people.

Even rich white guys need exercise.

The ban is stupid.

I'll allow the argument that the golf industry should be calling for the opening of all outdoor activities - not just golf - but c'mon, they are lobbying for their livelihood.

The science says that closing golf courses won't help stop the spread of COVID.

Income levels of golfers is irrelevant.

If you are a lefty, I'd be happy to get rid of your clubs for you, because I am that nice of a guy.

I think my sticks are more than 25 years old. The woods are a little younger, but they are hand me downs from my brother in law.

I just rent every time I go out now, which is not very often (4 rounds of 9 last year - the highest in a decade).

It's just hard to justify dropping $1,000 for something I won't use that often.

My putter is still awesome, though. I don't need a new putter.

I think you might be mixing up the "first two months" with the "First two weeks"...

I vaguely remember LeBrun(I believe) labeling the Habs a "juggernaut" or something similar...

seems the ship has popped a few rivets
