Exactly, but I don’t think this even has to involve rape. - Woderwick
Dunno why they hired him in the first place. What was it? 4 settlements including his ex wife who besides the hiv thing was alleging abuse?! Should have been enough flags to just avoid this to begin with. |

Only if he takes it to court and proves that all the things they said are untrue. Then the burden of proof is on him and they can pour all the poop into the public record. I very much doubt we see him do that.
It’s one of the things that Trump is going to get nailed on.
Why are you so hung up whether there’s an actual crime? - Canada Cup
There’s also the flip side, though.
I’m guessing there are quite a few out there who are saying this is woke culture run amok, and “....I’ll bet all he did is ask her out for a drink and the PC warriors have ruined his life.”
He did something MLB deemed worthy of a lifetime suspension. If he’s such a dirtbag, shouldn’t he be publicly shamed?
It’s almost like MLB is protecting him a little.
Jesus, I sound like an angry mob now.

I know leafs need to use their playoff lineup but Robertson could really use some games.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Galchenyuk and Robertson split some time down the stretch. - Santo_44
I just don’t see what everyone loves about Galchenyuk.

He is a good forechecker, has playmaking skills which allows him to not bring down the big boys, after Spezza he is the 2nd best on that 2nd PP unit and it isnt close, and isnt crap defensively.
plus he would probably take a 2 yearx1.25M contract and that is huge. |

I'm not. Just my day off. I'm bored and thought I'd be a devils advocate.

If its not an actual crime and your publicly scrutinized. Isn't that a true case of defamation of character? - Buck Norris
I could be wrong but I believe he would have to show how this impacted him financially too. Like did he lose his pension from MLB because of it type of thing.

I’m in the fantasy hockey finals and have a question for this group.
Start em or sit em (3 slots): G, A, PTs, +/-, PPG, PP, SOG, FOW, SHP, GWG
J.T Miller
Jason Robertson
Vincent Trocheck
Nick Suzuki
Matthew Tkachuk
Eeli Tolvanen
Craig Smith
Jared McCann
I’m leaning Miller, Robertson, and Trocheck. Suzuki has been on a nice run and they’re playing Ottawa, so I was thinking of maybe including him.
I’d very much appreciate any of your input. |

I am obsessed with them finishing first, even though I don’t think it makes a huge difference.
I want Montreal - FFS, we haven’t met them in the playoffs since 1979. I have no memories of it.

Sorry - Atomic Wedgie Don't mind Gally at all. He is what he is thou and you will be disappointed if your looking for him to produce on a level where he was drafted. Come playoffs him, Hyman and Foligno will be very important puzzle pieces IMO.

It’s just for today. They’re on my bench so it’s not a question of dropping or picking them up if that makes sense. We can set our lineup every day so there’s not that roster lock either.
I’m just nervous about the bench monster striking me big time. |

I do, the series was 3-0 Montreal, the 4th game the Leafs were up 4-0 and Montreal won it 4 straight. |

The only thing else I could hope for in a Leafs/Habs series would be rinks full of some of the best fans of two rivals in sports. |

I’d much rather play the Habs than the Flames in the first round - Canada Cup
Another way this could turn out and to me its a huge possibility and no ones really mentioned it that I know of. If the Habs play at a pace good enough to stay ahead of the Flames if they surge and the Jets keep poopting the bed. The Habs have a good chance of passing them. Leafs n Jets first round cuz I don't see the Oilers catching the Leafs. |

A few mentioned this last night on here. Maybe the Jets prefer the Leafs over the Oilers, like the Russians throwing games in tourny’s to get their preferred match up. |

Elder was a class act when all said and done IMO. Not in the kneeing part, he knew he was in the wrong on that part. But when it came time to nut up and answer the bell there was no hesitation on his part.

The problem I have with that idea is that their recent skid, er I mean decision to start throwing games started with two thumpings by the Leafs. They were sailing along nicely until then. Unless they were play acting really well in those games, I don’t buy it.
Also, if you’re going to throw games, you don’t ask your good players to get pummeled. You put your AHL team out and rest your stars.
Nope, Jets got throttled and don’t know how to get their own Richards out of their throats. The only team they might want to play in the first round is the Habs and winning was the only way to make that a possibility |

Only team that scares me is the Oilers. But that's an easy fix, dress Sabourin first game and slip him a thick envelope to take out the only difference maker on there team. Easy peasy pleasey... |
