Still so angry about last night. Must have watched the whole thing 10 times. Buch could have suffered a broken neck and Panarin a fractured skull. Thought the immediate reaction on the ice was great except for Zib really, who in all honesty probs shouldn’t be taking on Tom Wilson with his head injury history. The 3rd period was very disappointing. Have to wonder if the team was told not to retaliate. That’s the only excuse I can think of which just makes me hate the coaching staff if true. Ready for some big changes this off-season. We just have to remember this moment when our 4th liners finish the season with 3 goals and 8 points. They are here for this exact reason. |

Was suprised when You guys traded Lemieux, was Pisces the Hawks didn't make a offer. I know it sounds barbaric but if I'm the Rangers I go after Washington player's like Backstrom, Carlson, etc maybe not fair but the Capitals need to know they all will pay for Wilson's nonsense.
The Rangers like the Hawks need to bring in some toughness this summer. |

I totally get this sentiment and I feel the same way to an extent. But there is nobody that can stand toe to toe with Wilson. They would get wrecked. I know some are saying to take liberties with their star players. Then you have to answer to Wilson. It's a hard spot to be in. |

still in complete disbelief of the teams response in the 3rd last night, especially after finding out panarin was done for the game
idk if i've ever had less faith in this team moving forward. from leadership in the front office down to leadership on the ice.

Yea, you have a point. Wilson looks huge on TV, I couldn’t imagine having that psychopath standing in front of me with bare knuckles ready to punch my face in. Smith maybe could have scraped with him, but that’s it really. I don’t agree with retaliating on star players. I would have just liked to have seen them come out flying and hitting anything that moved. Not necessary stooping to his level. |

That part of hockey is dying too. I can't remember the last time revenge was exacted on a different player due to the actions of another. I agree it doesn't really belong in the game anymore. But sometimes it is warranted.
If Ovechkin has any honor he would ragdoll Wilson himself. |

smith looked like he was about to cry after he passed it right to the caps in front of shesty to give them the lead - he wasnt going to do poop after that. limping around like a sad wounded puppy. some veteran presence |

By no means are Kreider and Trouba big bruisers but they are big bodies who don't easily get tossed around. Missing them played a part in the liberties Wilson was willing to take.
Smith, is a good decent middleweight and I'm sure would have done the deed but to what end? Last time we were this disgusted we draft a guy at 10th overall who could barely skate. |

What should have been said: Hit em every chance you get. Don't worry about penalties. Just pound them and then pound them again. |

I was hoping that was going to add fuel to his fire. I thought he was sitting there with his head down leveling-up for something crazy. Bummer. |

Gonna make a bold yet not so bold prediction, Wilson does not get suspended and we don't answer the bell on Wednesday, afterall this is the Rangers we're talking about, history repeats itself with this organization, time for a change......again - KreiderBomb

It honestly makes sense, maybe its why the Rangers looked so disinterested in the 3rd. You lose respect of the players pulling that stuff |
