We can’t forget these last 2 games no matter the outcome of the next 4. Season on the line and we’re getting shut out in back to back games. Changes need to be made. |

Not just these, but those back to back big games against the pens earlier was the same deal. This team just can’t win big games as constructed right now |

What kind of changes though IMO if they can upgrade over Chytil I'd do it in a second he's got some talent but can't win a faceoff and he's a turnover machine. Howden needs to go as he brings nothing to the table both are completely replaceable and I feel its time for Kakko to start producing like a 2nd overall pick next season |

A new center is a must. Honestly don’t care if Chytill is part of the package or not |

Just feel like Chytil is a gonna be one of those players that frustrates you showing incredible talent occasionally but disappointing most of time with bad turnovers and inconsistent scoring. Just not sure who they can get that's gonna be a difference maker other then Eichel |

I don’t even care if they are huge difference makers. I just want someone harder to play against. Strome and Chytill are like wet paper towels out there.
Why I was all in on going for Sam Bennett on the cheap. Look at him now playing really well in Florida |

Couldn’t watch the game tonight, did Barron stand out at all? Not mad I missed it, Isles have to be our worst possible matchup. |

He took a bad fall at the very end of the game
But for real it shows Trouba and Kreider are the true leaders of the team.

Turned the game off after the last Isles goal, so missed that. Really hope it's nothing serious, no reason to rush him back now, rest up for next season.
Trouba, despite his salary, has grown on me as one of the leaders as well as Smith. Shame we will likely lose Smith next season and Trouba probably bought out in a few unless we trade some of the prospects for a solid center.
The talk earlier about Laf being named the next C might have some merit in a year or two. |

It is absurd that Valarmov shut us out 4 times. We werent shutout once all last year and now we are at 6!
We only have 4 guys that throw the body and 3 of them are out, we looked like the ice capades out there. There was no push back when Touba got hurt, and in the first few minutes of this game Zib takes an elbow to the face, intentional or not, by the same guy who took out Trouba... by the way.... and no reaction. Everyone just frowns and goes back to the bench. Ridiculous

Nope coaching is fine according to most on here !!! - way out west
It’s a combination of the players and coaches. The need an energy line, you can’t have 3 finesse lines and a 4th line that has a finesse player in Kravtsov, a college player in Howden and maybe the only guy that’s a 4th line guy in Rooney. I know Kravtsov won’t be on the 4th line anymore but having that line to teach young guys or w.e people want to call it is not a recipe for success. You need a 4th line to go out and hit and bring some energy in games like this and against teams like this. Some of this talent has to be traded for some more guys like can play but also toss the body around a bit. |

as far as Quinn goes, I think he's earned a chance to have a normal season, of the three seasons behind the bench, only one has been normal
they hired him for 5 years, if you aren't going to give him year #4 with a normal training camp, exhbition games, a normal schedule, why did they hire him in the first place then?
