I think they Habs have some good young players, but no dominant duo like Matthews/Marner.

I think they pulled a classic Leafs move and tried loading up on vets, but that rarely works out unless you have a very good team to start with.

"Thanks Josh - follow up question. If the Leafs beat you 4-1 and were flat how worried are you about how badly they may beat your ass if they play when they aren't flat - like for instance game 1 of a playoff series?".

Unfortunately no.

The Habs have just played terrible the last few weeks.

Very little hope remains of them "switching it back on" for the playoffs.

I mean... getting Gallagher, Tatar and Price back will help alot.... but I don't think it'll be enough to beat the Leafs.

Sadly this is true.

And deep down inside all Leaf fans feel like Charlie Brown running to kick that football every time the playoffs start.
