imo that is the only job he would be interested in. maybe OTT, something close from home.
won the cup in Junior, AHL, NHL, Switzerand and KHL. the guy has nothing to prove.

good point. maybe he doesn't want to be bothered by the insane MTL media though...

I would guess that the oppotunity to coach the Habs is pretty difficult to turn down

why are you talking about a new coach? I wonder how many coaches would do well to take over a team mid season, middle of a pandemic with the team in quarantine, no practice time to implement a new system and handcuffed by their GM to make any move with their roster

I'm really intrigued to know if it's already been determined Ducharme wouldn't be back, or if making the playoffs/playoff performances will dictate their decision... I hope they don't keep Ducharme as head coach if interesting candidates are available

Ducharme hasn't been turrible (although many would argue he's an idiot lol) but if there are experienced guys out there willing to take the job it would be silly not to consider them at all

imo if they do well he will be back. 100%.
if they lose in round 1... I don't know. their record since DD is coach is not really better than what it was under CJ. it will also depend if MB is still there. a new GM would certainly hire his coach.

it's actually Pacs for Tatar, Suzuki....and Norlinder, a great D prospect for MTL

makes sense. if they ever make it to the 2nd or 3rd round it might change the general opinion on DD

I told you Pat, they will be judged on their playoffs performances.
if they win 2 rounds, all the poop regular season will be forgetten.

If MB does not get fired, I think DD has a fairly good shot at an extension, depending on how well the perform in the playoffs.

If MB is gone, so is DD.

You have ZERO class. He could be injured or depressed or could be seriously ill or could be suffering from something else - you seem to take some perverse pleasure in it. CLASSLESS.

Karine, please implore to your readers to stick to the hockey talk and not take pleasure in speculating Drouins leaving....the fact that people on this forum make jest of mental health or even a more serious health condition is very poor.

I did, somewhere on page 1 or 2, but no-one controls what people write but themselves...I can only not speculate myself i’m afraid.

We agree on that one. Apparently he was rotating with Gustafsson at some point and has been replaced by Romanov on the PP wave, so perhaps Merrill will dress after all.
