Turning Galchenyuk into Anderson while getting great production form Domi in between was crazy good. Pacioretty for Suzuki was solid as well along with the Petry and Danault acquisitions etc. His track record is great. The only thing I'd criticize him for is not being able to get a legit top line centre during his tenure, but there are plenty of teams that struggle with that. Also Suzuki could be that very soon.

it's actually Pacs for Tatar, Suzuki....and Norlinder, a great D prospect for MTL

and Jacob LeGuerrier, Bergevin traded Vegas' pick (50th) for Los Angeles' 3rd (64th) who turned out to be Norlinder and their 5th (164th) which they used to pick LeGuerrier

I've been saying he'd be a great fit in Montreal for years.

He has had a few good acquisitions, but certainly some bad ones too: Drouin, Shaw for Debrincat and Girard, and Price's contract. I'd say they more or less balance out so he's a very average gm.

the development/scouting area might have been very suspect but in terms of trades and acquisitions I'm pretty sure the good moves outweigh the bad ones

Sorry it's the busy time of the year for me with project still out for bids and other starting construction.

I will try to make more time to annoy Kicksave later in the season

oh it's all good...

has Bob ever shared any interest for the coaching job in MTL? would be a bonus if he already said he'd gladly do it

yeah, I was just wondering because some Quebec-born players would rather play somewhere else, so perhaps there are coaches who would avoid going to MTL as well...

edit: ah, c'est un ptit gars d'Hawkesbury lol
