Thankfully for the Leafs and Habs both those GMs are long gone.

To be fair to Bergevin, I'd say the Drouin deal is more of an exception than a rule, overall he's done very well with the trades he's made. And Drouin is still a decent-ish player, just didn't pan out as well as Sergachev so it's not like was a total loss.

Yeah, I heard them too. Mental health is important every day and not just on Bell Let’s talk day... I mean imagine if people were criticizing your own shortcomings at work on Twitter, you wouldn’t like it and in today’s workplaces, you can even file a grievance if someone criticizes you at work...I know hockey players are paid a lot and it comes with the territory but putting myself in his shoes, it can’t be easy to take.

Turning Galchenyuk into Anderson while getting great production form Domi in between was crazy good. Pacioretty for Suzuki was solid as well along with the Petry and Danault acquisitions etc. His track record is great. The only thing I'd criticize him for is not being able to get a legit top line centre during his tenure, but there are plenty of teams that struggle with that. Also Suzuki could be that very soon.
