and for staal, really, it's not like skating is his only problem. He's not even capable of completing a 6 feet pass, or 3 feet clearing attempt. For Perry, you can still argue he brings something. Staal is one of the worst players I've seen in a long time.

and for staal, really, it's not like skating is his only problem. He's not even capable of completing a 6 feet pass, or 3 feet clearing attempt. For Perry, you can still argue he brings something. Staal is one of the worst players I've seen in a long time.

I think they were convinced Staal was simply suffering from the "Buffalo effect", and that with the habs he would again become the player he was 2 years ago
