AMEN!

Your bang on with that, the choices (especially for a weeknight game) are eat early and fast at a restaurant close to the rink and feel like poop because of it or eat overpriced (really overpriced if you want anything other than a hot dog or slice of pizza) rink food.

And $20 at the Leaf game likely doesn't (or barely does depending on how big a beer you buy) get you one slice and a beer never mind 2 slices.

Having been to a lot of Leafs/Habs games at the Bell Centre (although I haven't been there in at least 7 years now) I do recall being pleasantly shocked at the reasonable prices for both food and beer there. They had several combo deals which were more along the lines of what you mentioned "2 steamed dogs + a beer" for $20 or less.

I preferred to go to Mr.Steer burger at like 4pm for a great 'dinner' and to lay down a base before a big night at the game and after the game. We generally were in town on the night before the game and always had a really nice steak dinner at Que de Cheval (sp?) that one night - good god I can taste the steak as I type this.......

My wife and I used to have an annual tradition where I would make plans for the Leafs home opener - which was usually on a Thursday night. I would make a dinner reservation for 4:30 pm, explain to her that the home opener was very important to me, and we had to get there early because the 48th Highlanders start at around 6:30 pm, and I want to be there.

And every year she would get stuck at work, show up after 5 pm, and I would be franking furious.

Of course, the Leafs would ruin the evening anyways when they would let in a goal in the first 2 minutes, but there would still be tension.

Good times.

Did he volunteer to be injured or is he there because of shame experienced by Bergevin for making that trade?

if you could 100% guarantee a 1st round win, but lose in the second rd.. would you take that deal now?

oh..it also probably means beating the habs

- senstroll

Why? Who’s beating us in either of the first two rounds as it is? I want the Cup and think there’s a shot. Eight months from now if we won the third round, I’d probably go, yeah ok.

Federal investigators just searched Rudy G’s apartment. Borat nowhere to be found.

Oh, oh Rudy

Rudy will be the only person who isn't lying when he says "I have no memory of that event" during his testimony.

Habs can't use Robidas Island... they have to get there own, probably somewhere in the St Lawrence and very cold, with no cocaine on the menu.

So explain to me how we clinch tonight with a Leafs win in regulation and a Canucks loss in regulation.

Wouldn't they still be able to tie us if we lose the rest and they win the rest in regular time, which would give them 26 regulation wins (RW) to our 25, so they win the tiebreaker?

Fingers crossed here for everyone who's still waiting.
Nurse told me today that they were informed there is a ton of vaccine on the way.

He regularly had 3 or 4 cell phones, a couple of iPads. He kept changing numbers but he still managed to butt dial reporters in the middle of his secret little meetings.
