AMEN!

Your bang on with that, the choices are eat early and fast at a restaurant close to the rink and feel like poop because of it or eat overpriced (really overpriced if you want anything other than a hot dog or slice of pizza) rink food.

And $20 at the Leaf game likely doesn't (or barely does depending on how big a beer you buy) get you one slice and a beer never mind 2 slices.

Having been to alot of Leafs/Habs games at the Bell Centre (although I haven't been there in at least 7 years now) I do recall being pleasantly shocked at the reasonable prices for both food and beer there. They had several combo deals which were more along the lines of what you mentioned "2 steamed dogs + a beer" for $20 or less.

I preferred to go to Mr.Steer burger at like 4pm for a great 'dinner' and to lay down a base before a big night at the game and after the game. We generally were in town on the night before the game and always had a really nice steak dinner at Que de Cheval (sp?) that one night - good god I can taste the steak as I type this.......

I went to a Panthers game in 2017 and got my ticket, a hot dog and 2 beers for $35.00 American.

Holy hell.

Only other thing of note - it feels like someone punched me in my arm in the same spot for 2 or 3 hours straight. This despite the fact I iced the poop out of it from when i got home on Monday until dinner time.

Looking forward to the Leafs / Habs tonight and then to bed early (again).

yup. It was the same for except for the headache. Maybe all the pot I smoked help with that and my arm felt like I was in arm punching game.

Now I need to watch the blood clot maan.

As long as you don't want to see a team in a market that is struggling play a 'top tier' team as far as fan draw goes there are still some real deals to be had. Sadly all teams in the league learned quickly that fans of the teams with huge fan bases like Toronto, Montreal, Rangers, Hawks etc. will travel to away games and pay good money for tickets so they tier their game pricing now.

Ottawa was the first team I know who did this, when I lived in Kingston I would go to Ottawa and Montreal 4 times a year to each place to watch the Leafs play and even with tiered pricing get seats I would never been able to get or afford in Toronto.

Sad but true.

Holy hell.

I was on 10 wait lists for the AZ vaccine here north of Toronto - signed up on Monday/Tuesday of last week. I got a call Saturday from a small pharmacy in Innisfill saying I was up to book an appointment - so I booked my appointment for the first available date which was this past Monday at 2pm.

Got the shot, felt fine up until about 7pm when a slight headache started, no big deal and I told the wife "I'll be right as rain tomorrow" and I went to bed nice and early at 945 pm to try and make sure.

11pm - the fun began when the absolutely crippling, Migrane level headache started.
1130 - 1230 or 1am - the chills and a slight fever set in - I'm talking big time chills as in put on socks, sweat pants, long sleeve t-shirt and a sweat shirt under a duvet in bed and still cold chills.

1am(ish) chills over - stripping off clothes now like Jenna Jamison in her prime because I'm sweating bullets, still running a slight fever and my head is absolutely pounding.

4am - wife put 2 ice packs on my head and I finally fell asleep at 5am until 8am.

8am - still migraine level headache and entire body feels like I was a punching bag for a gym full of pro boxers training for a week. Booked off sick for work and even to send 3 emails was insanely hard, took me an hour to send 3 "I can't make the meeting today, I'm out sick" emails.

All day -body aches continued at the "punching bag" level - ate toast at noon. Headache dialed back starting at about noon from migraine to strong to end of a hangover level.

Napped 3pm to 445pm.

Went to bed with just a slight headache but still sore body/ muscle aches.

Woke up today finally free of headache, sore and achy but more of a 'I overdid it on the weekend working outside" soreness but feel exhausted and groggy / in a fog.

Wild ride - I have my 2nd shot Aug 16th and have learned my lesson and have proactively booked the next day off.

I was shocked how much it impacted me and how delayed the reaction was / how long the headache lasted. I generally have no reaction at all to meds, or vaccinations.

Only other thing of note - it feels like someone punched me in my arm in the same spot for 2 or 3 hours straight. This despite the fact I iced the poop out of it from when i got home on Monday until dinner time.

Yep. Mine wasn't quite as bad as this, but it was no joke either. Felt like a full body hangover and my shoulder hurt for 5 days.

That's stupid. How would they find each other? No one takes the time to LOOK, so it would just be give away after give away like it is now. Hrm. There's a flaw here.

I find this hard to believe. I have been assured by the Ottawa fans that it is impossible to attend a game in Ottawa due to the parking, and the Redblacks.

Most people don't want to sit on top of a tarp for 3 hours either

At least they got the seat tarp prototypes right before covid hit though, probably saved the rest of the league a lot of headaches and r&d

if you could 100% guarantee a 1st round win, but lose in the second rd.. would you take that deal now?

oh..it also probably means beating the habs

Just flag the posts that discuss or comment on racial issues and move on.

Right, so flag the other guys too eh?

Flag the guy saying race shouldn't be used to distribute vaccines. Haha... So ridiculous.
