Nope, haven’t touched them. Too much value from France, Italy and Spain here.

The blues were in last place and won the cup. We’re only in 28th, got them right where we want them.

It's so hard to pick one of Gretzky, Orr, Lemieux. They all have reasons to be considered the best ever.
- golfingsince

True you can make an argument for all 3. Lemieux's PPG was crazy as was Gretzky's total points...but I lean towards ORR as to me he was the most complete player of all time if not the best based off what he was able to accomplish in such a short period of time. No weaknesses in his game in any way shape or form. I just don't think we will see another complete player like that ever IMO. Gretzky has the numbers to be sure but I think there is more to it than that. Intangibles and reading between the lines so to speak. Saying Wayne is the best ever because he had the most points is like saying Michael Jackson is the greatest musician even as he sold the most records lol

Having people in place before we fire people is what keeps getting us into this mess in the first place.

I have added CanuckDon to my short list of people to interview for the vacancy, and reuby to the short people on the list.

At least Don will give a good interview.

I think there are 5 goals Demko would want back, pretty bloody ordinary performance by the next greatest goalie in Canucks land😑

Canucks look gassed already. Covid hit hard and the league rushed them back. All aboard team tank

Now is a good time time to double down. Sign Sutter, Edler to 3 year extensions, come back with the same team and let them prove the haters wrong.

i like it. either they win based on the intangibles that these proven vets give this team on a nightly basis or the team fails due to the goaltending and gets high draft picks.

being 2 years away, a gm can take novel approaches like this.

benning haters just don't want to admit that they can't see his genius. they claim he has no plan but if you're actually paying attention to the subtlety, you can see that benning has multiple plans working at the same time. 1) win now. 2) tank 3) spend to the cap on fringers/bottom 6 so seattle has no quality players to choose from.

if you ask me, no other gm in team history has been so adept at the subtle art of strategery. give him an extension and add president of hockey ops to his title.

I think if they fire Green, they would likely ride out the season with the assistants just to have a warm body behind the bench. But I don't think any of these guys are coming back next year.

If I was better at computering I would edit a photo of Leo from Inception with Benning's face. He's that brilliant.

Cuban made some strong points about this strategy the other day. It's good to see some one supporting that theory and it's brilliance. I am among those that don't give Benning credit where credit is due.

Kole lind may play today according to Rick D.

I don't know where he will play but i feel bad subjecting him to anywhere but Bo or Miller's lines.

Loving the tank going on.
