Everyone has a light travel schedule within the division so that makes no sense. Also, the Sens are as much of a doormat as anyone else......they just play in a weaker division. Are you really going to say the Rags 58 points in unimpressive because they play NJ and Buffalo? They play the top 4 twice as many times.

They're going to be a really good team, their two young draft picks are just getting started. They've also never had the 1st overall pick since 1965 so maybe they were due.

- golfingsince

The Metro has had a light travel sched forever. I don’t pump the tires of other bubble teams.

We’ve never been gifted a 1oa or 2oa.

None of us have a plan because we’re not actually making the decisions. We don’t talk to NHL people, we don’t know who might actually be available. All we know is which rejects are out there without a job

Also, isn’t Francis in Seattle now?

Yes, google confirms that. So your plan is to hire a guy that just got hired somewhere else?

- 1970vintage

Yes now.

I speak of many many months ago.
Now your history lesson ends grasshoppah

Travis Green: “We got what we deserved. We look a little tired physically and looked mentally tired, too. There’s no rule in the league that you can’t win when you’re tired.” #Canucks

I'd like to know how many people are actually OK with keeping TG? What about Benning?

If you see this Carol can you run a poll at season's end? Thanks.

- golfingsince

I’d fire Benning and let the new gm decide on Green.

Gretzky changed the way everyone played the game.

Lemieux was an immensely talented physical marvel.

McDavid is like a faster less defensively responsible Crosby.

- golfingsince

That was Orr not Wayne.

Lemieux was unreal skill but super ass lazy.

Love Crosby but McDavid is above in almost all aspects of the game except for a few things on defence.

The overall fan base wouldn’t miss either.
They’ll move on to other complaints.

1970 Dale Tallon passed on HHOF Darryl Sittler among others.
1988 Trevor Linden passed on HHOF Teemu Selanne among others.
1990 Petr Nedved passed on surefire HHOF Jaromir Jagr among others.

I'm still not sure how the light travel schedule applies this season when everyone in the division plays the same schedule.

I’d fire FA & hire a Prez to decide on JB.
If fired then pass it onto the new GM on TG.

Wayne did it. He had an office.

Surprising you didn't know that as an Oilers fan. There's a reason he went to Russia and was so famous there, he changed the way the game was played in many ways.

At hockey schools they actually taught people how to go into a corner like Gretzky did and avoid taking a big hit.

Comparison is between travel for each division. Canadian or old Pacific division face a tougher grind every season.

So what you're saying is that it's not a reason the Rangers have more points. I get ya

Then if the new GM decided to keep him you'd know you made the wrong decision.

What I'm saying is it took them less time to rebuid than us to re-tool. I guess it's because they fly less.

What I’m saying is a lighter travel sched is a bonus to any team. We don’t have bus trips for road games.

We had too many NMC’s/NTC’s old news.

They’ve accomplished nothing to say their rebuild is good or not yet. If anything lottery luck saves them the last 2 years.

Fairview Cab Franc tonight. It’s only an ‘18 but it’s already much better than when I tried at the winery last October.

So should we move or fold? Stop complaining if you can't offer a solution.

Maybe we would have had more lottery luck it we weren't propping up the team with bad FA deals. If you're going to suck, might as well suck. It's not even tanking, it's just accepting reality.

I don't have the blind loyalty to all things Canuck that you and some others do. I criticize the team when I see fit, as I do with my other sports teams. I also do it with movies, books, hotels, wines, etc.
