Nah. Don't think he's on the block. Beane mentioned after Lamp that Cody was the most talented guy in the position group. The other three are flex depth. I believe I heard that the guard depth is poor in the draft this year.

I can agree with that, Bill's have Devey, Douglas, and enough depth to cover it if they got a decent offer for Ford. Not saying it is gonna happen but Beane has positioned himself nice if he wants to.

Hoping Bossman is right about smokescreen. Also, everyone forgetting about Jaret Patterson? I wouldn't mind him back half of the draft. Antonio Williams from the practice squad seemed ok too.
Pach said first person Etienne reminded him of was Spiller. Same here! What worries me is Spiller was thought to be a top 10 talent. Etienne is not, which leads me to think he isn't projected to be as good as Spiller and Spiller wasn't anything too great in the NFL.

He's a big boy. If he is an edge, I think I'd like to see an edge guy more in line with Hughes' size at 250. Jerry's tape against Jackson in the divisional round is beautiful. He could turn and keep Lamar contained.
Pegs or Gerbe's who do you like in the draft at RD, gotta find a partner for Johnson to grow with. Kukkonen is more of a defensive Defenseman and Lyckasen would fit the bill as a puck mover, but he's a ways away if he makes it.

In-between the 3000 and 8000, and really like what Hank writes, really didn't think to ask. Gerbe's and Pegs seem to have been studying up on prospects already.
