we began to start trimming the fat in our monthly budget, around 350 a month

and many of our short term (1 to 3 year projects) are being altered
instead of new cabinets, probably painting them and throwing a marble countertop

I tried to get a few estimates for projects and they almost doubled vs pre covid

Yea its not good, rising minimum wage constant money printing. Hyper inflation of the US dollar.

I'm going to be good with pretty much anything the Bills decide to do. Don't like moving up for Etienne, just don't really like that pick regardless. Clemson players don't pan out for the Bills. They really don't pan out in the NFL, which is why i'm taking Zach Wilson over Trevor Lawrence. Dude needs a haircut too. I was watching DJ's mock last night on NFL Network. That throw Wilson made during his pro day is all I needed to see because I never seen anything like it. Wilson is a real Don Juan and I Don Juan nothing to do with him being in the Bills division. I guess iron sharpens iron if it happens.

Tevin Jenkins reminds me of Dion Dawkins. Wish the Bills could get better than Dawkins if they use a 1st rounder on line. Need a real road grader on that line. Derrick Henry would be stifled by Bills run blocking. The guy from K State should've been who they moved up for instead of Cody Ford.

My only wish is that the Falcons pass on Pitts so I can dream for at least one more pick. Buffalo would set the Guinness Book of World Records for jeans creamed if the Bills can find a way to move up to get him. Can't believe I'm this excited for a draft the Bills pick 30th in.

Eklund is the Elias Pettersson of 2017.

At least I’m willing to bet on it

it's a simple fact

your house is worth a ton right now, but the only way you come out ahead is if you want to downsize your house

a middle class family with a starter home, probably can't afford to upgrade to the next house due to the increase in that price

and 99 percent of business never lower their prices

is it doom and gloom, no

but expect a bigger gap between the haves and the have nots

those living paycheck to paycheck are going to feel it the most

- homiedclown

That's exactly what we did came out way on top
Of course we no longer live near city

Upping minimum wage, taxes and regulations during a pandemic does't seem to be helping either. I feel for small business owners, like it or not, our government is doing it's best to ensure they go under.

one and only post on this:

for forty years under the every-wavering flag of neo-liberalism, the uber-rich have been leaving crumbs for the 99% beneath them while the majority of americans were left to sustain themselves not on the crumbs, but the mere scent of crumbs while that 1% got fat...and we collectively screamed "manna from heaven!"

trickle down economics was the biggest economic fallacy in the history of 'murica, yet the majority of american voters fell for it three times

Then don't post. You need me to name more? Christian Wilkins, Hunter Renfrow, Tee Higgins, Dexter Lawrence, Isaiah Simmons. All impactful players. I happen to agree with you that I wouldn't take Etienne, but not because he's from Clemson. I just don't think he's worth a first rounder.

I started loading up on gold and silver in May of 2020 for this very reason.

Unfortunately it’s been consolidating for the most part since the August peak but I think June-September is going to be good for PM’s

The rich have all the power, I dont see them relinquishing that for a more balanced economy. I dont believe the biden administration will be able to change anything with higher taxes for the elite. They will pay brilliant lawyers to find loopholes.

Agree wholeheartedly! There is also a lot to be said for the small business owners and the anxiety of making it or not (I work for one), but with bankruptcy protections, LLCs, and other manipulations there are so many protections...if it's true that 80% of small businesses fail, then why don't all the failed business owners go to the welfare lines? All the ones I know have all bounced back and founded new ventures, some many times over. None have had their homes or life savings taken from them. I respect the heck out of business owners but its workers whose compensation has barely creeped up at a snails pace for 50 years while those with money get exponentially wealthier.

Good post, minus the jeans part☝️

I really think the Bill's want to run the ball better. The offensive is built to throw, but teams are going to watch film and catch up a bit on dabol and josh.

Thus, trying to get someone to replace lee smith and his mauling but aging blocking skills.

Not sure if I see that in any specific te early?

Thus go mauler on the line.

I'm super excited, you're a true fan.
Finally good after decades of poop.

%100oskimmer confident in this well oiled drafting machine. Same front office = distinct advantage.

they need to be able to establish the run in bad weather or when the d allows a few quick scoring drives vs the harder teams

the back to back chief and titan games come to mind and the eagle game in 2019

This is a very good post, although SD is a good dude imo

Long story short , high school best friend from buffalo has a cousin playing wide receiver for ohio state. Freshman last year, #1 wr recruit in the nation and top 5 overall going into the season. Watched him play high school ball with my friends son. Talk about dominating, it was ridiculous.

Watched alot of ohio state games. Love rb sermon later in the draft. Watch for wyatt davis to be on the Bill's list.

Mean nothing in this league anymore... every year a small player slips down the board and a good team gets him and then hes instantly a 60 point player....
- DirtyDan

Not saying he won't be good. But Draisaitl good, I don't really see guys putting up production like that at Eklund's size.

Eklund is closer to Ehlers than Draisatil.

I think maybe what he meant to say is that although Eklund may go outside the top 2 (like Leon) he thinks he may be the best player when we look back at this draft class a few years from now.

The
@49ers
have offered the
@Packers
the 3rd overall pick in this year's draft, plus other picks and a number of players from their current roster including Garoppolo
for Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers turned them down.
