he's got such a great shot and his career-high 19.5% shooting percentage is certainly helping his goal total
- Michael Pachla

15.3 last season isn't too shabby but you aren't wrong. Hoping for a slump so we get to keep him.

Just give him a dime bag before each game. You'll see his feet move faster
- DirtyDan

๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†, thinking more like a 8ball, dime might just be a warmup for him.

Wonder if that can be built into his contract, be like a games played bonus.
- Buff36

Doctor's wouldn't be able to sedate him enough to keep him out.

am liking the idea of a shorter-term deal...3 or 4 years, $7-7.5 million would work as i tend to think that he's close reaching his plateau as a probable 25 goal/60+ point player

He probably wants a 6+ year deal though. See if he'll sign through the 25-26 season when Jacks due.

25/35 sounds about right. If that's the case we're in the ballpark. Still hoping that by getting him to UFA quickly we could get down into the 6s at 3 years.

Now can we move out the money to afford that in this Covid market...we shall see.

It'll be ironic that Drury and Reinhart wore the same numbers.

miller to seattle and okposo to ltir would be a step in the right direction...having a high pick that might possibly play this upcoming season will indubitably help as well

Not directed at you necessarily but why is this the only tool people use when assessing value or a $ amount on a player?

Victor Olofsson is probably a 20-25 g-50-60 point guy and Reinhart is clearly better and more valuable to this team than Olofsson, and itโ€™s not really remotely close.

Not the only tool just the first everyone goes to and the most obvious...

Should have claimed that goalie they waived Nedjlkovic (spelling).
- Buff36

Nedeljkovic.

Yeah. Didn't think he'd be this good but here we are.

Trocheck has been a monster.

Think it will depend just as much what they do with Dahlin. I'm ready for a max deal, you?

I just listened to the first 15 minutes of The Instigators. I am not one to female dog about local hosts (usually I am the opposite) but I can't believe they spent the first 15 minutes of the show going on and on about how valuable Risto. Love him or hate him, he was probably the least interesting thing about last night's game. The odd thing about it is that at some point they pointed out that he never gets in fights, even if it is to defend a teammate.

Anyway... I just thought it was odd. Overall the kids played a strong game (especially considering the Rangers have a far superior roster on paper) and UPL looked very good.

Iโ€™ll probably orgasm when I read the tweet that says heโ€™s been traded.

Itโ€™s just so god damn overdue

Scoring should be the last tool used to measure a player? I agree that it shouldn't be the only tool, but this is a spicy take my man.

Point totals should be.

All point totals tell me is whether or not you play on the power play.

There are 30 point players who are maybe on PP2 or not on the PP at all who are better players than guys with 50 points

If they both left the same season, that would be Drury/Briere esque.
