Then you must really hate Risto

We aren't allowed to talk about the Viking, would have no problem seeing him go in the offseason. Really hoping that article that came out about LA liking him is true. They have pieces that would fit very nicely here.

Why not? The kid makes it look easy. In fact he makes plays look so casual you don't even notice them

That back hand pass from the corner to center ice springing Skinner for the rush chance was unbelievable

Yep, Cozens has been bad in his own end for a few games with sloppy play
- Buff36

How the hell did Bjork miss that pass?

If you told me Shea Theodore was 33, I'd believe you. I feel like he's been around forever

Same for LaFrieniere, who looks like a 30 year old rookie.

Love his offensive game, still gets schooled in the defensive zone sometimes.

Agreed, but it wasn't the first sloppy play by him, but hopefully they learn from it.

The play in the 3rd period where he fielded the pop up zone clear by the Rangers near center ice with a Ranger coming at him full speed, only to throw his hip/ass out to have the Ranger bounce off him and go spinning, then bring the puck up the ice and make a phenomenal pass to Borgen for a great chance was unreal.

Yes it does, but you can't tell me he still doesn't need to work on that area of his game

I don't agree that it was a sloppy play. Marty didn't either when they showed the play. Bjork was wide ass open and somehow totally botched the pass.

Well sure, but my point is if you're looking for a defender who almost never loses a battle, you're going to be extremely disappointed as that defender does not exist.

Well we can agree to disagree, he had other options then throwing it out in front.

I'm not, but his defensive game is lacking, he's young and will learn.

He didn't throw it out front. He made a pass to a wide open Sabres player.

The play looks bad because Bjork somehow missed the pass, along with age old hockey rules that many believe are hard and fast when they're not.

Many defenseman constantly just hammer the puck up the boards blindly, and that doesn't always work either. We've seen that play forever. I'd rather watch a player try to make a play. I'm guessing Bjork doesn't miss that pass next time.

He wasn't wide open, he missed the pass but the Ranger player either 12 or 17 was right behind him, Bjork would have had to throw it towards the boards anyways.

You are right, I watched it again and the Rangers player closed quickly on Bjork.

No biggie, it was a mistake by both, and a hell of a screen by Bryson on the shot.
